Hot water systems in Perth

We recently had Westplumb complete some gas plumbing work at our home, and we couldn't be happier with the service. They were efficient, honest, and offered a very fair price. The work was completed to a high standard, and everything was explained clearly along the way. It's refreshing to find a tradesperson who is reliable, professional, and genuinely cares about doing a great job. We highly recommend Westplumb and will definitely use them again in the future.

Fair Price(provide a fixed price quote to get job DONE), Professional(other plumbers came and said to me the job can’t be done without evening testing gas pressure, Westplumb Brent came and tested and determined it’s doable) Customer centred(came and help the second day for a small mistake the dishwasher guy made, for free!) Quality work(Brent always uses premium parts and double check the work done) All job supply paperwork and certificate. I can’t think of anything better! Full story: Westplumb was recommended by a local Facebook group, at start I was merely asking Brett to come and quote. I got a fair price when he’s on site and he happened to be free, so I decided to let him do the job. It gives me the right feeling when I don’t have to talk a lot for the right price. Brent is a chilled Aussie block, works like a beast. Fair pricing : I was quoted from other plumbers for 1.3k to 1.5k to replacement my kitchen sink and rebuild water threads. He did a fix price for me for $850, even tho it ended up being a 7 hour job, he has a Fixed Price Policy so you only pay what was agreed. The second day he installed and get rid of the old water system for me, the other plumbers that came and quote demanded me to replace the whole pipe works at my house(quoted me for $2700). After Brett’s calculation he thinks my house is doable with the old pipe work. And get it working within 2 hours! (Power is getting installed by electrician soon, so please ignore the power threads in the photo, it’s only for testing). He also came back for a small mistake my Retravision dishwasher installer guy made, he came and replaced that for me, even though he doesn’t have to, it’s not his mistake at all. It won’t hurt to ask him to come and do a free fixed price quote anyways. Trust Aussies and stay away from dodgy installers.

Brent is unbelievable. I damaged my hot water system and it had to be replaced . Brent arrived on time the same day , removed and replaced the old unit in 3 hours , left no mess . Highly recommend , excellent work . Thank you so much .

My hot water heater went bust and I needed a replacement as soon as possible. Westplumb came the next day and installed a new one as disussed. Came on time, left no mess, very professional. 5 stars, would call again!

Amazing installation quality and customer service: All taps have been replaced with 1/4 turn, that saves a lot of energy and stress by screwing then unnecessarily tight and causing potential damage to the bridge inside the wall. Shower volume almost doubled and I am finally able to use bathtub. Very happy with the service, Brent quoted me with a fixed price and done it neatly and professionally, highly recommending Westplumb.

Brenton cam out for an emergency call today. The top of an outside tap had blown off and there was a 5 metre high geyser of water exploding all over the courtyard. He was so quick, given he had to finish one job and then travel down to Mt Lawley, replaced the tap very quickly, was drenched in the meantime and remained so polite and cheery through the entire job! I’d like to add that I was so pleasantly surprised with the price. Shocked even! I fully expected to pay at least twice the price for an emergency job on a Saturday, so close to Christmas! Very, very happy and I will definitely use again.

Brenton came out for a blockage and after determining it was Water Corp at fault, sorted out with them for the issue to be fixed. Highly recommended

Brent was quick, fixed the problem and was extremely helpful at figuring out my issues. I've had several different issues in my house over the years and no-one has been able to help as well as Westplumb and gas. He's also been extremely responsive, I called him and literally later that day he was able to drop in and solve my problem. He's got a great sense of humor and is very good at what he does. Brent was very responsive (calling back within 10mins of voicemail), scheduled in for free callout quote the very next day, and resolved everything on the spot for a good fair price!! Excellent service, great pricing, no callout fee, easy and straight-forward communication. Overall, just no BS and only focused on customer needs. Context: Our water cut off the night before due to a failed valve and we needed a fix ASAP. Westplumb was the first plumbing service I found online which boasted same day service AND an added bonus of $0 callout fee. I submitted an enquiry on their website around midnight (Friday) and got a call back as early as 8.30am the next morning, but I couldn't respond to them until 11am. By then, I had received quotes from other plumbing services which were ALL 2 - 3 times more (without exaggeration) expensive than the Westplumb quote. So it was a no brainer, and within 1.5hr of confirmation, my issues were resolved. Thank you Westplumb for getting my issue sorted so quickly, I will definitely be recommending you to my circle if they ever need your services.

Brenton's care, communication and attention to detail was exceptional. I cannot recommend WestPlumb more highly. I was having difficulties with my hot water system. I called Brenton and he was able to head out within a few hours. His professionalism, service and knowledge were unmatched.

I called Westplumb again August 2026, as my hot water heater suddenly was only producing warm water. Brent came (on a Saturday) and within 5min figured out it wasn't the heater. I told him that it started happening after water was turned off to seal off taps in our ensuite, which was being renovated. He quickly figured out that the shower tap was feeding hot water back through the cold-water pipes, due to a lack of tap washers. He put a tap washer in the shower tap and all was well. The best part is he didn't charge me a cent, as I'd used them previously. This is the second time I've been impressed with the fairness and expertise of Westplumb. I would definitely recommend them as your first point of contact. 2025 I called Westplumb after another "emergency" plumber charged $140 for a callout, before they even would come out, and then quoted $1849 to do the job. Westplumb were out within two hours and charged no callout and a total of $390 for the entire job. I wish I'd called them first. Great job, fair price. Needless to say, I've kept their contact details.

Absolute legend, same day service to unblock a kitchen drain, had to dig to get the pipe but left the pavers like he was never there. Highly recommend

I'm impressed that Brenton from Westplumb took on my job when I'm at the opposite end of Perth to him and he had to travel a long way. He responded quicker than a couple of other plumbers I'd contacted. Brenton is a capable, well-qualified, knowledgeable plumber who determined the cause of the blocked drain and cleared it with his incredibly high powered tools. He had to remove pavers and dig down to the problem pipes. He is kind, helpful and affordable. I highly recommend Brenton!
